Spent a lot of time actually doing productive stuff with Magic. Which mainly means I finally put away almost all the loose bulk I've had laying around, and actually putting up all the cards I wanna flip. I'm not using TCGPlayer for it so it's gonna take a while but just having them up for sale is good I think. There's still a little loose bulk around but that's ok. I also finally sleeved up GB Yawg again. I wanna say "rebuilt" but I never really took the deck apart. The deck is honestly a lot more funky now, and I need to get used to Wall of Roots + Hapatra + Yawg and one undying creature being a win con with Soul Cauldron. I'm probably gonna update that ramble I made a while ago at some point. Or more likely make a new one.
Edit 4/21: I sayd "two undying creatures", you actually only need one. To explain briefly; Soul Cauldron can exile cards in graveyards, and gives your creatures with +1/+1 counters all activated abilities of creatures cards exiled with it. This is why Wall of Roots matters; it puts a -0/-1 counter on itself as the cost for its ability, which doesn't annihilate with a +1/+1 counter like -1/-1 counters do. Since all the undying creatures have 1 base toughness, this means they'll die immediately once a -1/-1 counter is placed on them.
Though now that I'm thinking about it, Hapatra already serves as a second undying creature during the combo. The main thing this does though is give infinite green mana, which can be useful if you have a low creature count and draw Chord of Calling or you're running Walking Ballista.
